Members and Visitors Dress Code

It is in all our interests to maintain reasonable standards of dress in keeping with a golf club of Orchardleighs stature.

Golfers are therefore made aware that the following are expected standards that must be adhered to both on the golf course and in the clubhouse:

1.                  Tailored shorts are acceptable, but only if recognised Golf socks are worn. Trousers should not be tucked into socks.

2.                  Golf shoes, which have been used on the golf course, should not be worn in the clubhouse unless cleaned.

3.                  The Bar and lounge are designated no-spike areas. No hard spikes inside please, unless on the designated grey walkway to the changing rooms.

4.          Casual Shoes must be worn in the Clubhouse walking around in stocking feet is not permitted under any circumstances.

5.                  Only recognised Golf Shoes must be worn on the course at all times.

6.                  Only recognised golf shirts should be worn and they should be tucked in unless specifically designed otherwise.

7.                  At no time are jeans, tracksuits, shell suits, T Shirts or Trainers permitted on the course.

8.                  The changing of clothing in the car park is not permitted.

9.                  Whilst guests are permitted to wear jeans and t-shirts in the clubhouse, we will not permit ripped, dirty or bleached jeans and t-shirts must not carry slogans.

10.                  Gentlemanly conduct should be adhered to at all times.

11.              The use of mobile phones is strictly forbidden in the clubhouse. A £1.00 fine in the Charity Box will be levied.

12.              Hats / visors should be worn forwards and on the course only. Hats / visors should not be worn in the clubhouse.

These regulations apply to both members and visitors alike and disregard for these very reasonable standards can lead to the person or persons concerned being asked to leave the Course, or the Clubhouse, by the Club Manager, the Golf Professionals,  the Steward or any member of staff.

Thank you for your co-operation.
