Once again this year's September Open was very well attended producing some close scores. The lady captain, Di Norris presented the prizes.

Winning vistors from Saltford were Janice Dall and Amanda Mayne with 40 points. 2nd on count back from Ashley Wood were Janet Jones and Sue Edwards. 3rd from Clevedon were Juliet Hagley and Rosemary Fife with 39 points. Visitors neared the pin Silver - Sylvia Harvey from North Wilts, Bronze - Norma Poundey from Yeovil.

Orchardleigh members' winning team was Anne Regler and Christina Francis with 39 points. With Anne taking the members prize for nearest the pin.

There were eleven 2-spots: Amanda Mayne, Saltford; Bobbie Epsley, Kingsdown; Judy Tanner, Yeovil; Betty Pledger, Woodbury Park; Sue Walsh, Bridport & West Dorset; Jenny Dart, Sherborne; Sue Dix, Cumberwell and from Orchardleigh: Sonia Probert, Mel Sutherland and Anne Regler who had two.
