We were so lucky with the weather last weekend when we held our ladies club championship. There was some exciting golf played and the championship was closely contested. 

Congratulations to this year’s champion, Sara Tunstall who played some stunning golf with an overall gross score of 172, retaining her title from 2009. Runner up with just one shot behind was Liz South.  A valiant effort as Liz started the second round 5 shots behind. 

Overall winners for the two days:  Club Champion Sara Tunstall (172 gross) – Harris Trophy. Runner up Liz South (173 gross) – Claret Jug.  Silver best nett Sara Tunstall (146) – Wilder Cup.  Bronze best gross Letitia Corray (205) – Louis Goblet. Bronze best nett Sally Tucker (152) – Dicken Cup.

2-spot winners were Rachel Priddle, Loes deKleuver, Sarah Doble and Sonia Probert.
