MINUTES OF MEETING HELD ON Thursday 27th March 2008

MINUTES OF LAST MEETING: Accepted & Signed.
MATTERS ARISING: Roll-ups: Hilary raised the subject of the procedure for the organisation
of the Roll-ups, e.g. the card draw - after discussion, it was agreed to leave it as it is.
CAPTAIN'S REPORT: The 3 Captains' Day : This event went well, with a few hiccups. Sally thanked everyone for their support and help, especially Mollie for all her hard work with the Raffle which raised £416 for the Driving Range. There will be a Seniors & Ladies Roll Up on 6th May starting at 8.54a.m. The Bowmaker and 1st Coffee Morning are full and the 4BBB is going well, whilst the first entry has been received for the October Coffee Morning.Geoff Stringer is going to start the coffee morning. The Members will have to be asked for contributions for the sale table and the Raffle. There is a General Committee meeting on Monday 31st when we hope to discuss the moving of the Starters Hut with the Greens Committee in view of how dangerous it is in its present position.

HANDICAPS: Hilary reported that she was having problems with the order of merit. A letter has been received by the Committee from Anne Regler , on behalf of the ladies who played in the Alternate day Stableford in March. Sally has asked that the Committee members read it before the next meeting, when it will be discussed fully and the appropriate actions taken. Anne has been advised and is happy to await the decision.

Ladies Friendlies: Earlstoke match had to be cancelled because of the weather. Re-arranged
