Seniors AGM

The Senior’s Section AGM for 2017 was held in the clubhouse at 08.00am on Monday 13th November, 2017.

A total of 33 members attended and were presented with end of year reports from the (outgoing) Senior’s Captain (Phil  Jefferies), Treasurer (David Chalker), Fixtures Secretary (Malcolm Lloyd) and Competitions Secretary (Robert Miller).

Phil handed over to our new Captain - Jim Worsley who thanked him for his very successful year and outlined his views on the year ahead.

Jim’s  proposed Captain Elect for 2018 – Paul Moakes – was accepted by the members.

Three of the current Committee were nominated to stay on in their current roles for another year and these were accepted by those present. Namely :-

Fixtures Secretary (Malcolm Lloyd)

Competitions Secretary (Robert Miller)

Secretary (Dave Edwards)

David Chalker has stepped down from his role of Treasurer after many years of excellent service and his nominated replacement – John Griffiths – was agreed by the members present.

Seniors Christmas Dinner 2017

THE SENIORS CHRISTMAS DINNER WILL BE HELD AT ORCHARDLEIGH GOLF CLUB ON FRIDAY 15TH DECEMBER 2017 AT 7:30PM
